Miss M. Wyatt. Hastings, is staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Masterton.

Mrs. H. G. Alexander. Pownall Street, Masterton, is spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs S. Fletcher (Masterton) is at the Hotel Waterloo, Wellington, for a few days.

After 33 years in the Government Service —the last 14 in the Police Department —Miss C. Eden, who since 1932 has been police matron at Dunedin, will retire on superannuation on July 31. Miss Eden is on final leave.

The Robert Parker Memorial Bursary, valued at .£lO 10s annually, organised by a private committee to commemorate the late Mr Robert Parker, C.M.G., and administered by the Music Teachers’ Registration Board, has been awarded to Miss Honor MeKellar, Otago University.
