NEW ZEALAND ACTIVITIES IN EGYPT
WAR EXERCISES ON LARGE SCALE. TROOPS TO ATTEND SERVICE * ON ANZAC DAY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) CAIRO. April 22. The men of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force have begun their first large' scale exercises since their arrival. These aim to test and co-or-dinate the powers of infantry, cavalry and artillery over extremely rough country. The manoeuvres will conclude on Wednesday.
The troops will attend a religious service on Anzac Day.
