A German plane machine-gunned the Dutch trawler Erin in the North Sea. The skipper stated that his colours were plainly visible. TWENTY MEN MISSING STEAMER SUNK IN CHANNEL. FOUR MEMBERS OF CREW RESCUED. (Received This Day. 10 a.m.) LONDON. April 22. The Bravore sank after an explosion off the South-East Coast of England. Four of the crew were saved but. twenty are missing. ANOTHER VICTIM SUNK OFF NORWEGIAN COAST. (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) ROTTERDAM. April 22. The Bernisse was sunk off the Norwegian coast. The crew was saved.
