FRENCH REPEL LOCAL ATTACK. ENEMY PLANE BROUGHT DOWN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, April 22. A French official evening communique states: “To the east of the Moselle, we repulsed by our fire the attack of an enemy detachment which did not succeed in approaching our outpost. “During the night of April 21 and 22. in the course of an encounter with one of our patrols, an enemy reconnaissance aeroplane was attacked and 101 l in Belgium.”
