Marlborough Cup Won by Roy Bun NIGHT DRESS TAKES WAIMATE CUP PEONY ROSE WINS FROM END TO END AT OTAUTAU (BY "THE GRAFTER."? At the Marlborough Racing Club's meeting on Saturday, Roy Bun won the Cup fairly easily from Mishna. The Flaxbourne Handicap was accounted for by Sporting Gift, while Namesake scored in the Novice Stakes. Night Dress proved her superiority over the rest of the field in the Waimate Cup, winning in a decisive manner from the favourite Swordstick. Aravane registered a double at the meeting, and Rebel Mate won the President’s Handicap without any pressure. At the Otautau meeting, Peony Rose won the Cup from end to end, and Gustie accounted for the O'Brien Memorial Steeplechase.
