MEETING OF WAIRARAPA SOCIETY. GROUND IMPROVEMENTS. ("Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Wairalapa P. and A. Society was held in Carterton this morning. Mr J. A. McLeod presiding over a fair attendance of members An apology for absence was received from the president, Mr R. R. Tilson. A motion of sympathy was passed v-ith the Government in the death of Mr Savage. The secretary of the Dannevirke A. mid P. Association wrote advising that the Dannevirke Show would be held on February 11 and 12. 1941. followed by a rani fair on February 1.3. Mi' R, H. Williams, secretary of the Masterton A. and P. Association, stated that .he Masterton Show would be held on February 18 and 19. 1941. and the Ram Fair on February 20 and 21. Two new members were elected and one resignation received. It was decided to hold a meeting of the ground committee next Saturday morning.
