QUESTION OF CHARGES. (Ry Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. April 18. Questioned regarding charges for cablegrams for soldiers in Egypt the Postmaster-General, Mr Jones, staled that the matter of reduction was still under discussion with overseas ladministrations. In (ho meantime arrangements had been made for a charge of four words only (five in the case of deferred or daily letter telegrams) to be made for addresses of telegrams to soldiers in Egypt irrespective of the number of words contained in that portion of the message. Telegrams could thus be fully addressed to ensure delivery without the senders bearing full charges for lengthy add resses.
