OLD GIRLS' ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING LAST NIGHT. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa College Old Girls' Association was held in the College Library’ last night The president. Miss Nina Boddington, presided over a representative attendance of members. Officers for the year were elected as follow: —Patron, Mrs. G. G. Hancox: president, Miss N. Boddington; vicepresident, Miss O. R. Sutherland; committee, Misses A. Petersen, H. Bell, N. Brown; hon. s'ecretary-treasurer, Miss W. Young. It was decided to hold social evenings again this year, the first to take place at the home of Miss N. Boddington. Short Street, on Monday’. April 22, when old and new members will be welcome. The annual report of the president stated: "I have pleasure in presenting the fourth annual report and to record another successful year, both socially’ ancl financially. Our membership increased this year with several newyounger members who we were verypleased to welcome. Our members still show interest in the association's activities. This interest was proved by the numbers who always attended the social evenings—quite often under very wintry weather conditions. It was decided to again hold social evenings at some of the members' homes. We were grateful to the girls who put their homes at our disposal, where we enjoyed varied programmes of music play reading and competitions. We arc grateful to our vice-president. Miss O. R. Sutherland, for her interest in our association and wish cnee again to thank her for the party which wo all enjoyed during the season. Our year's activities ended with a picture party, followed by’ supper at the CountryWomen’s Club. We were pleased to be able to once again make a small donation to the Christmas cheer fund for lepers. The balance sheet shows a small credit which will help us to start our new year. We are indebted to our hon. secretary-treasurer, Peggy Hubbard, for her help in every way in the interests of the association and regret her resignation on account of leaving the district. Our thanks are also due to all who helped to make the season a happy’ one.”
