TABLE TENNIS

SEASON OPENS ON SATURDAY. INTERHOUSE COMPETITIONS PROPOSED. The very cold weather that has been experienced in the Wairarapa recently has heralded the approach of the table tennis season. Enthusiasts are busily sorting out their equipment, are waiting anxiously for the various clubs to open. The Masterton Winter Sports Club will lead the way next Saturday, followed closely by the Kuripuni Club. During the coming season the Masterton Interhouse Association propose to organise table tennis competitions among the business houses in the town. Those players who have not already done so are advised to begin practising as soon as possible and to take note that "Practice makes perfect."
