SOUTH AFRICAN WOOL
EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT DESIRED. SHORTAGE OF SHIPPING SPACE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 10.20 a.m.) CAPE TOWN. April 17. The Wool Growers’ Association has requested that the agreement between the British and South African Governments should extend for a year after peace. The Italians ceased buying yesterday, leading to rumours. The cessation is probably due to lack of steamers. Two loadings on the coast are packed.
