BEING GREATLY INCREASED PRESENT AND PROSPECTIVE STRENGTH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Dav, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON. April 17. The Australian Associated Press learns from an official spokesman that the Dominions’ forces are being greatly increased. The Canadian Air Force was recently increased by 14.000. Provision is made for a total of over 30,000. The Australian Navy personnel is at present 11,000. The Royal Australian Air Force is preparing to train 26,000. South African forces of all arms at present number 50.000.
