SHOP DAY

LANSDOWNE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. WINNERS OF COMPETITION. A shop day was conducted by the ladies of the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church in the church hall yesterday afternoon. The stalls were well stocked, and business was brisk. The lad’es were well satisfied with their eTorts. The cooking competitions, which were judged b.y Miss Brown, resulted as follow; Scones, Mrs Wrigley;- pikelets, fruit cake, sponge cake, Mrs Linton; ginger bread. Mrs Dunbar; best article made for 2s fid, Mrs David McNeur. A doll, dressed and donated by Mrs Wriglej' was won by Miss June McKay.
