RANGITUMAU
WOMEN’S DIVISION COMPETITION WINNERS. ("Tinws-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Rangitumau branch of the Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was hold in the Rangitumau Hall recently. There was a fair attendance of members. The competitions resulted as follow: One bloom. Miss F. Wrigley 1. Miss I. Harvey 2; three blooms. Mrs. Duckett I. Miss Harvey 2; pikelets. Mrs S. McLachlan 1. Mrs. Macdonald and Mrs. Duckett, equal, 2; shoulder spray. Miss J. McLachlan 1. Mrs. Macdonald 2. Points prizes for the year had been given by Mrs. James, Miss Harvey, Mrs Seward. Mrs. E. Wilton and Miss J. McLachlair. and these have been awarded as follow: Cooking; Mrs. Macdonald 1. Mi's. Duckett 2; flowers, Mrs. Duckett 1. Miss Harvey 2; needlework Mrs. Wrigley 1, Mrs. Macdonald 2. A special prize for the best wagon cover worked in colour was won by Miss Kemble.
