OIL FROM RUMANIA
BAN ON EXPORTS DENIED BUT REDUCTION LIKELY. OWING TO CREATION OF RESERVES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 12.25 p.m.) BUCHAREST. April 16. It is officially denied that Rumania has banned the export of oil. M. Neola, the principal commissar for petrol and oil. said Rumania was continuing to respect all her undertakings and was at present loading tankers and railway tank-cars for shipment abroad. He added that owing to the Government’s decision to create reserves for the armed forces and internal needs, exports in the immediate future might not be as large as had been expected. Sixty-five more members of the Iron Guard have been released.
