PATROLS THROWN BACK
ACCORDING TO GERMANS. FIGHTING ON THE WESTERN FRONT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) BERLIN, April 16. ' The Official News Agency says the Germans throw back enemy reconnaissance patrols and shock troops. In an attack on an advance post, an enemy officer and eleven men were killed and many taken prisoner. Two Germans were wounded.
