William Potts, scr 1 Bronze Eagle. 48yds 2 Jack Spratt, scr .' 3 Scratched: Colossal. Won by a length; a neck. Time. 3.30. William Potts was a 4/4 favourite and Bronze Eagle 9/10 favourite. WAINUI HANDICAP, l.’.rn. Ned Worthy. 12yds 1 Master Potts, 12yds 2 Labour Day, 12yds 3 Also started: Buster Flush was fourth. WAIRARAPA HANDICAP. 11 miles. 1/1 Jesse Owens. 12yds 1 1/1 Palomar. 12yds 2 2/2 Accountant, scr 3 All started. Jesse Owens and Palomar were bracketed and Accountant and Jackaranda. Wee Potts was fourth.
