COMBINED ACTION
BRITISH ARMY AND NAVY THE LANDING IN NORWAY. SAID TO HAVE CONFOUNDED NAZIS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, April 15. The speed with which the British forces landed in Norway and the way in which the Army and Navy combined has created a profound impression everywhere. It seems to have confounded the Germans, who are trying to persuade Norway and Denmark and their own people that Narvik is still in German hands. No indication can be given of the number of places occupied by the British in Norway nor where they are. Apart from Narvik, .the only official news shows that the German forces are still at Bergen and Stavanger and arc having a pretty hot time. Five air raids have been made on Stavanger in the past few days. Most of today’s air and naval activities were carried out in most unfavourable weather.
