FIRE DAMAGE
MAIN SECTION OF CHRISTOBAL SWEPT. TWENTY-FIVE BLOCKS DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Press Assoei.il ion—Copyright. (Received This Dav, 11.25 a.m.) CHRISTOBAL. April 14. Fire swept the main section of the city and destroyed twenty-five blocks. Ten thousand people are homeless. The United Stales Army and Navy assisted in extinguishing the flames.
Christobal is adjacent to Colon, the town at the Atlantic end of the Panama Canal named in an earlier message ns the scene of a disastrous fire.
