ARRANGEMENTS FOR MASTERTON COMPETITION. ENTRIES CLOSE APRIL 19. Arrangements are well in hand for the commencement of the Indoor Basketball season, which will be run as f. Masterton Y.M.C.A. Interhouse Basketball competition. Entries for the competition will close with the secretary Mr D. Costello, on April 19. Teams may select practice times from the following periods: Mornings. Monday. Wednesday. Friday and Saturday. Evenings, Tuesday, from 5 to 6 o'clock, and from 8 to 10 o'clock: Friday. 5 to 6 o'clock. Practice times should be arranged with Mr Costello as soon as possible. Teams tire asked to note the following points: In order to assist the caretaker, teams practising in the early morning are requested to use only the Dixon Street entrance. Either the team captain or the coach must accept responsibility for the hall keys, the switchim, oil' of lights and behaviour of the team in the gymnasium. In filling in the registration form the following matters require attention: ill The firm or organisation represented: (2) registered name of team: <3> uniform of team; t‘l.) registered colours; (5) team captain: (6) members of team. The minimum number in the teams will be six in thi. girls' competition and five in the men's, with at least two emergencies. The charge will be 5s (id per player, with a minimum team fee of £1 13s.
