The Paris High Command is reported to have observed indications of a German attack on the Western Front. NOTE OF WARNING ENEMY PREPARATIONS NOTED. (Received This Day. 10.5 a.m.) PARIS, April 11. The military authorities have warned the French to be prepared for possible heavy fighting on the Western Front. “Events in northern Europe,” it is slated, "should not lead us to forget the Western Front. Preparations have been observed at various points which would indicate that an attack is coming.” “QUIET NIGHT” FRENCH OFFICIAL REPORT. TWO ENEMY PLANES BROUGHT DOWN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 9.55 a.m.) RUGBY. April li. The French official morning communique reports: "A quiet night on the Lorraine and Alsace front. Two enemy reconnaissance planes were brought down early today by our fighters.”
