Watson's stable at Palmerston North is a sturdy yearling' colt by Phaleron Bay out of Fillette' by Boniform. He is owned by Mi- A. Southey. Eketahuna, who raced that brilliant mare. Lady Ina. Handicapper Dead. A cablegram from Melbourne states that the death has occurred of Mr J. H. Davis, handicapper of the Victoria Racing Chib.
