COLLEGE OLD BOYS ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS At the first annual meeting of the Wairarapa College Old Boys'" Hockey Club, Mr. 'Looby congratulated the club on last year’s performance, which was very creditable in view of the fact that the team was a new one and players hard to find. In. fact, at times the team had to play two and even three short, this year there was evidence of a plentiful, supply of players for one team, but if the club were to enter two teams the same trouble would probably again arise. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season: Patron. Mi’. Caverhill; president, Mr. E. Tooby; vice-presidents. Messrs. IVI. Hanley. 11. Jacob. G. W. Moriee, G. G. Hancox and T. Hanley; secretary-treasurer. Mr. K. Jainc: club captain. Mr. S. Falkner.

In proposing Mr. Cavcrhill as patron Mr. Tooby said he had much pleasure iii stating that if it had not been for the past support of Mr. Caverhill, the chib would not have been as successful as it was lasi season. He wished the thanks of the members Io be conveyed to Mr. Cavcrhill. It was decided to enter a team in (he junior com pel i t ion. The colours of lite team arc to remain the same as last year, namely, while shorts and jerseys with black socks. KIWI HOCKEY CLUB’S RANKS. DEPLETED BY WAR .ENLISTMENTS. Owing to the large number of mom-1 bet's of the Kiwi Hockey Club who. have enlisted lor overseas service. it was decided al the annual meeting held I in Ihe Kio Ora Club rooms List night. 1 to adjourn the mooting until next I Thursday.
