ONE-ACT PLAY

NATIONAL CENTENNIAL COMPETITION. The attention of readers is drawn to an advertisement appearing in this issue announcing the organisation which has been arranged by the Centennial branch of the Department of Internal Affairs in collaboration with the British Drama League and the Auckland Drama Council to give effect to the decision of the Government to include in its programme of National Centennial celebrations a festival of community drama. The festival will take the form of a competition in which play acting groups in all parts of the Dominion should be interested.
