WAITERS IN THE WAR ZONE. SOMEWHERE IN GERMANY—There are no serviettes, finger bowls or menus in sight, but these steel-halted German soldiers are serving as waiters, nevertheless. They are ration-carriers, shown making their cautious way through the woods near the front line with food for the garrison of an advanced outpost. The man in the rear is the guard, whose job is to protect the rations. There is probably hot soup or stew in the tureens on the backs of the "waiters."
