ORCHESTRAL CONCERT
FIRST AT THE VATICAN SINCE RENAISSANCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. ROME. April 8. It is believed for the lil’st time since the Renaissance, an orchestral concert was held at the Vatican. His Holiness in a surprise speech at the conclusion, said that music relieved him from serious and sad thoughts. He hoped that the works of composers of various nationalities would symbolise harmony among nations.
