CENTENNIAL SPORTS
MARTINBOROUGH GATHERING OLD RESIDENTS ENTERTAINED. WINNERS OF TROPHIES & OTHER EVENTS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Martinborough Centennial Sports meeting held on Saturday attracted a large attendance of district residents and visitors. The occasion was a most successful one in every respect. One of the features of the gathering was a luncheon tendered to residents of 75 years and over by the Martinborough Borough Council, and Featherston County Council. Yesterday a thanksgiving service was held in the Martinborough Town Hall, the speaker being the Rev J. Mann. Results of the sports events are:— Horse Events.
