WOMAN SENTENCED TO DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Assoeiation—Copyright. APIA. April 6. Faalonu. a Samoan woman, aged 22 years, was tried on Thursday in the High. Court til Apia before Chief Judge W. Carrol Harley, and throe European and one Samoan assessors on a murder charge. She was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of her infant son, aged 10 months. This is the first case in Samoa of a woman being condemned to death.
