FIVE BROUGHT DOWN ON WEST FRONT TWO DORNIERS DESTROYED. CONSIDERABLE ACTIVITY REPORTED. Five more German planes were brought down on the Western Front yesterday. Daventry reports. This was revealed in a French communique, which reports very considerable activity in the air. Two German Dornier planes have been brought down over German territory. A French machine singled out one of the Dorniers and brought it down, the .French plane running out of ammunition and being escorted home by British planes. The second Dornier was chased in a running fight before it nose-dived.
