NEW ZEALAND COAL
> $ ORDERED FOR AUSTRALIAN TROOPSHIPS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) SYDNEY, April 7. The Minister of Supply, Sir Frederick Stewart, in a statement, said arrangements had been made to secure coal for the ships to carry loops abroad. It is learned that the arrangements include supplies of coal from Now Zealand. The combined mining unions know of this development, but it is understood that they preferred not to make any representations to the New Zealand Government or the New Zealand trade union movement.
