He came tip strongly and finished unchallenged. The time. 9.20 3-5. was only l-ssec outside Golden Miller's 193.4 record. Royal Danieli started favourite, and ran a great race, loading nearly all the way from MacMoffatt until he fell two fences from home. Kilstar tlie second favourite, finished well back.
