♦ VILLAGE IN MANCHUKUO SET ON FIRE. WITHDRAWAL WITHOUT FIGHTING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) TOKIO, April 5. The Domei Agency reports that regular Soviet troops crossed the Manchukuo border near Suifen’ho and set fire to a small village. They withdrew before Japanese reinforcements arrived and no fighting occurred.
