NEEDED RAIN
WELCOME FALL IN NEW SOUTH WALES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY. April 4. The best, rainstorm since November has already drenched southern and western New South Wales, and there is every prospect of it continuing. Reports arriving this evening indicate that rain is spreading all along the coast, substantially replenishing reservoirs and relieving the city’s- water shortage. A reassuring report states that the wheat belt in the west and south is receiving the best rain in six months.
