Senator Reynolds moved a resolution demanding that Mr Bullitt submit himself to the Foreign Relations Committee for examination, also that Mr Sumner Welles issue a detailed statement on his European tour. He further moved a resolution favouring recognition of de facto governments, provided the rights of United States citizens were recognised.
