LADIES’ AUXILIARY ANNUAL MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Ladies' Auxiliary was held yesterday afternoon, when 18 ladies attended. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames P. R. Welch, Beecroft. Milne. Wadham. Coddington and Pither. The annual report, which was presented by the secretary (Mrs Cottle) and the statement of recepts and expenditure, presented by the treasurer (Mrs Nelson) were read and circulated among those present. The report showed a year of considerable activity and the statement of accounts showed a healthy financial position. The General secretary, Mr D. McKee Wright, presided during the election of officers, which resulted as follows: President. Mrs H. E. Pither; vice-pre-sidents, Mesdames Mackay, Corskie and Bannister; trustees, Mesdames Pike and Physick; secretary. Mrs Cottle: treasurer, Mrs Physick. Hearty votes of thanks were passed to the various outgoing officers. The secretary, after outlining various points in connection with the year’s work, expressed appreciation of the constant assistance of members of the Auxiliary during the year. At the monthly meeting, held earlier in the afternoon, presided over by Mrs M. G. Mackay the resignation of Mrs I W. A. Clarke was accepted with re-j gret. New members elected to (he Auxiliary were Mesdames Pickering asd Blackwood, ft was decided to hold a series of card evenings during the winter.
