A NEW CLASSIC. '['HE TRENTHAM GUINEAS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The establishment of a now classic to be called the Trentham Guineas has been decided on by the Wellington Racing Club. It will replace the Trentham Stakes at the October meeting and will bo run over one mile at Derby weights. The entries for the 1940 and 1941 guineas will be taken with other classic and woight-for-age entries next .June and in lhe succeeding years the entries will always bo of yearlings. The first two Guineas cany a stake oi £6OO.
