Struck by a motor-car when she was crossing Dominion Road tonight, an elderly woman was killed. The victim was Mrs Emma Dexter, widow, 4 Dexter Avenue. Balmoral. She received extensive head injuries. The accident was witnessed by Mrs Dexter's sister, Mrs E. Naden, who had crossed the road before her.
