Unclaimed Push Chair.
Among a number of unclaimed articles at the Masterton Police Station is a push-chair, which was found in a damaged condition in Renall Street during the weekend. The owner may obtain the pram by applying at the Police Station. Old Landmark. Another old landmark to disappear in Masterton is one over 66 years old —a store next to the Cosy Theatre in Club Street, which is being demolished and will be replaced with a modern concrete structure. Mr. Charles Bannister stated to a “Times-Age” reporter that the building was erected about 1874. being used as a store by Messrs. Wylie & Girdlestone, auctioneers. It was afterwards occupied by Messrs. lorns and Ferguson, and later by Mr. T. B. Mason, who had the second chemists shop in Masterton.
The annual meeting of the Red Star Football Club will be held in the Foresters’ Hall. Masterton. tomorrow night (.Wednesday, April 3).
