GOLD MINING RETURNS
The New River dredge returned 27 ounces for 100 hours from 9000 yards. Maori Gold reports that the ground at Gallaghers, where the dredge is working, is too hard for the steel bucket tips used and operations have ceased till the arrival next week of Manganese lips.
The Argo dredge return was 29 ounces for 106 hours from 9500 yards.
