CARTERTON v KELBURN. ("Times-Age" Special.) On Saturday the Kelburn Lawn Tennis Club visited Carterton for their annual match against the local club. Ideal weather conditions prevailed and the tennis was of a high standard. Kelburn were successful in retaining the cup played for by 7 matches to 5. The results were as follow. Kelburn players being mentioned first in each case: Walker and Hawley defeated Dwane and Steel. 6 1. 5/6, 6'3; Park and Davys lost to Roydhouse and Fisher. 4 6. 6'4. 4'6: McGill and Blake lost to Mackie and Goodin. 5.6. 3/6; Mansfield and Tomlinson lost to Roydhouse and Mackie. 6/1. 1 6. 4 6; Mansfield and Walker lost to Dwane and Mackie. 6 5. 3 6. 3 6: Davys and Hawley defeated Barrett and Candy. (i/4. 6/3; Blake and Tomlinson defeated Steel and Fisher, 6'5. 6'3; Park and McGill defeated Goodin and Fisher. 6/4. 6 3; Walker and McGill defeated Goodin and Roydhouse. 6'5, 6'l: Park and Mansfield defeated Mackie and Fisher, 6 3. 1 6. 6/3; Davys and Tomlinson lost to Dwane and Candy, o'6, 5 6: Hawley and Blake defeated Steel and Barrett. 6.0, 6/1.
