NAZI TERRORISM
VAIN HUNT FOR CZECH STUDENTS SAVAGE REVENGE ON OTHER YOUTHS. DEATH FOR “OBSTRUCTING THE POLICE." By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) PRAGUE, March 31. Foiled in their attempts to catch a young Czech student, believed to be responsible for the murder of a member of the Gestapo, the Nazis have taken revenge on two youths. They have sentenced one to death, for allegedly obstructing the police, and have imprisoned the second for ten years, for withholding information. An unprecedented police hunt was organised yesterday, but proved fruitless. The police surrounded Prague while squads combed the streets and countless buildings. They searched all hotels at 5 a.m., compelling guests to prove identification. Many civilians were arrested on suspicion of possessing information about the hunted student.
