POLICE PROMOTIONS
INSPECTOR POLDELL MADE SUPERINTENDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Important police changes arc announced. Inspector Poldell Hamilton, is promoted to Superintendent and transferred to Wellington. replacing Superintendent Lewin, who has retired. Inspector Edwards replaces Inspector Poldell at Hamilton. Inspector McLean, Greymouth, is transferred to Gisborne and Sub-Inspector W. E. Packer. Christchurch, is promoted to inspector and transferred to Greymouth.
