LARGE NUMBERS OF WOMEN
BENEFIT.

More than 300,000 women will be affected by the Old Age Pensions Act which became law today and comes into operation on July 1. The age of pensioners under the contributory scheme will then be lowered from 65 to 60 and the number of women receiving such pensions will be doubled.j
