At least a day before the Alberta general election results are known a second count is necessary in most constituencies in contrast to the landslide which swept the Social Credit Party to power five years ago. The Abcrhart Government is running neck and neck with the leaderless Coalition, members of which are standing as independents. Latest figures of candidates elected ere: Social Credit. 7: Independent, C. Social Credit candidates are leading in 25 seats, Independents in 17. Socialist in one and Labour in one.
