German radio allegations that Australian soldiers are fighting and quarrelling with Arabs in the neighbourhood of Jerusalem and Haifa are utterly false. The authorities in London emphasise the splendid discipline of the Australians and their excellent relations with the local people. Germany is even asserting that the Australians killed three Arabs and sentenced a fourth to death; also that an Australian court-martial passed a death sentence on two Australians to pacify the Arabs.
