SYDNEY. March 22

Almost every trade unionist in New South Wales will contribute a shilling a week for the sustenance of the striking coal-miners. This was decided bi a special mass meeting of trade union executives. Labour Council delegates and ship stewards. The meeting adopted the Australian Council of Trade Unions' recommendation that all unions should impose a weekly levy of at least a shilling a member for the duration of the strike.
