BOUND FOR HOLLAND WITH OIL OFFICER AND SIX CHINESE KILLED. OTHER MEMBERS OF CREW RESCUED. Ry Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day. 11.20 a.m.) LONDON. March 20. The steamer Phobos (7412 tons), bound for Holland with a cargo of oil. was mined off the South-East coast. A lifeboat rescued thirty members of the crew, covered with crude oil. and a steamer picked up nineteen others. The first officer and six Chinese members of the crew were killed. The vessel is still afloat.
