ROTARY CLUB
BUSINESS AT WEEKLY LUNCHEON.
The weekly luncheon of the Masterton Rotary Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. room today, the president. Rotarian J. J. Hunter presiding over a good attendance. An interesting talk on the recent District Rotary Conference held at Palmerston North recently was given by the club delegate, Rotarian S. L. P. Free, and Rotarians G. W. Sellar, F. E. Wells and Raymond Lee. The speakers referred to the high standard of the speeches at the conference, and paid tribute to the warm hospitality of the people of Palmerston North. Favourable comment was passed on the public gardens in the city, and on Massey College. Birthday greeting were accorded the president.
