WAIRARAPA V. HUTT GOOD SCORE BY LOCAL TEAM. WILSON TOPS THE CENTURY. The feature of the Wairarapa College ' First Eleven versus the Hutt Valley High School cricket match which commenced at the lege grounds yesterday and is being continued today was a fine last wicket stand by N. Wilson and A. Hoar. Wilson played attractive cricket to compile a century, while Hoar held up his end well. College were all out for 275. Hutt then went in to bat. but before the drawing of stumps were all out for 81. Palmer and Pointon being the only batsmen who reached double -figures. The match is being continued under cooler conditions this morning. Palmer. Hare and Lyver made bright, knocks in Hutt Valley’s second innings which closed at 209. Wairarapa. with only five minutes to go before close of time, had to score 16 runs to win: Taylor and Wilson made 15 and the match was drawn. The Hutt Valley eleven returned home this afternoon.
