EXCELLENT YARDING OF SHEEP
GENERAL IMPROVEMENT IN
PRICES.
There was a splendid yarding of sheep at the Masterton stock sale today. All the sheep were of good quality. Bidding was very free, the f-'ices realised being a definite improvement on those al last week’s sale. There was a large attendance of buyers.
Quotations are: Fat, Southdown wethers, 20s lid: fat wethers. 24s 3d; -I and 5-year-olds 19.: ItJd: fat lambs, 19.: Gd to 20: 9d.
