FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

IMPORTANCE OF CHINA’S

STRUGGLE.

STRESSED BY AMBASSADORS IN LONDON.

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. March 18.

“China is fighting for the same ideals of political liberty as inspired Britain to take up arms in the European conflict,” said the Chinese Ambassador, Mr Quo Tai-chi, in a speech in London. “It is therefore of supreme importance to Britain not to lose sight of the bearing of China's struggle on the present attempt on the part of the democracies to re-establish law and order.”

He asked if anything could be of greater promise to British and world welfare than a strong Chinese democracy.
